Scanning opens your destination straight away: the menu page, a booking form, a feedback survey. Change that destination whenever you like; the printed code is untouched.

Show an info panel

Scanning lands on a Foldout-hosted panel instead: a title, sub-headings, paragraphs, bullet lists and an optional image. Ideal for allergens, dietary notes or house rules.

Show info, then a link button

The panel first, then a button through to the destination with a label you choose. You can add up to six more labelled buttons alongside it.

The same code can sit on your website too. Desktop visitors who cannot scan click it and get the identical info panel in a modal, so nobody is stuck holding a phone up to a monitor.

QR code menu widget questions

What is a dynamic QR code for a restaurant table?

It is a printed code that encodes a short Foldout link rather than your destination directly. The link never changes, so the printed code never has to. Where it sends people is a setting in the dashboard, and you can edit it as often as you like.

Can I change where the QR code goes without reprinting it?

Yes, that is the whole point. Table tents, menus, window vinyls and beer mats keep working after you repoint the code. Publish the change in the dashboard and scans follow the new destination.

Can the code show allergen or dietary information instead of a link?

Yes. Set the code to show an info panel and write the content as structured blocks: a title, sub-headings, paragraphs and bullet lists, plus an optional image. The panel is server-rendered with no client-side JavaScript, so it loads on a weak phone signal.

Can I brand the QR code with my own colours and logo?

You can set the foreground and background colours, pick from five dot styles and three corner styles, add a centre logo, and wrap it in a card, scan-me or ticket frame with your own label. High error correction keeps it scannable under the logo.

What file do I get for the printers?

A vector SVG for print, or a 1024px PNG. Both encode the same stable short link as the version embedded on your website, and both are generated by the same renderer as the on-screen preview, so what you see is what prints.

What happens if I pause the widget or the config is broken?

A printed code in the wild never dead-ends. If the widget is paused, unpublished or the saved config cannot be read, the scan falls back to a neutral Foldout page rather than an error.
