How to add widgets to a Wix site
Add the script tag via Custom Code
In your Wix dashboard go to Settings → Custom Code, add the Foldout snippet, set it to load in the Head on all pages. This loads Foldout site-wide.
Add an Embed/HTML element
In the Wix Editor, add Embed → Embed HTML (or a Custom Element) where you want the widget, and paste the Foldout embed snippet for hours, menu or forms.
Manage content in the dashboard
Update hours, menus and forms in Foldout and the Wix page reflects the change immediately — no re-publishing the Wix site.

Foldout on Wix — questions
How do I add a widget to a Wix site?
Add the Foldout script tag once via Settings → Custom Code (load in the Head), then place an Embed/HTML element on the page and paste the widget's embed snippet into it.
Do I need a Premium Wix plan?
Custom Code and HTML embeds require a Premium Wix plan with a connected domain. That's a Wix platform requirement; once you're on Premium, Foldout works through the standard embed tools.
Can I embed a PDF menu on Wix?
Yes. Foldout renders your PDF as a swipeable mobile viewer inside the embed element, and you update it by uploading a new PDF in the dashboard rather than re-uploading files to Wix.
Will the widgets fit my Wix design?
Yes. They inherit your fonts and colours and can be fine-tuned with an appearance panel and custom CSS, so they sit naturally inside a Wix layout.
Do my opening hours update automatically?
Yes. Set hours, overrides and closures in Foldout and the embedded widget shows a live open/closed status — no editing text on the Wix page.
