The events page that stops being a liability
An events page typed into the website is stale the day after the gig. The widget holds the list in one place, filters it to what is current, and hands search engines the structured version, so the page stays an asset instead of an embarrassment.
- Events with times, descriptions, images, prices and ticket links
- Past events leave the live list automatically
- Weekly repeats for the quiz night, without retyping it
- A compact upcoming view for sidebars, or the full list
- Event structured data, so listings can appear as Google event results
- Times handled in your venue's timezone, including late finishes
- A broken event entry never takes the rest of the list down
- Same two-line embed as every other Foldout widget
Enter it once, then let it expire
Type the event once
Title, date and time, a line of description, a ticket link if there is one, a price if it is not free. A weekly quiz is one entry that repeats.
The list keeps itself current
Upcoming events show; finished ones drop off on their own. The January line-up cannot linger into March, because nothing needs deleting.
Google gets the details too
Each live event carries Event structured data naming your venue as the location, which makes listings eligible for event results in search.

Events widget questions
How do I add a what's-on list to my pub or restaurant website?
Paste Foldout's two-line embed on the page where events should appear, then add events in the dashboard: title, date, time, description, image, price and a ticket link. The page shows the current list from then on, and you never edit the website again for an event.
Do old events disappear by themselves?
Yes. The list is filtered server-side to what is upcoming or on now, so a finished event leaves the page without anyone deleting it. That is the difference between this and typing events into the website directly.
Can a weekly event like a quiz night repeat automatically?
Yes. Set the event to repeat weekly and the list always shows the next occurrences. One entry covers every Tuesday, and ending the repeat is one edit.
Will my events show up in Google?
Each live event is published with schema.org Event structured data, naming the venue as the location, with dates, prices and ticket links. That makes listings eligible for Google's event results. Eligibility is Google's call, but the markup they need is there without any work from you.
Can I sell tickets through the widget?
The widget links out to wherever tickets are sold, with a button label you choose. It deliberately does not process payments; your ticketing stays where it is and the website stays current.
What does it look like on a phone?
The list stacks into a compact mobile layout, and images stay secondary to the details guests are checking: what is on, when, and how much. There is also a condensed upcoming view for sidebars and footers.
